These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Ashhkaro mobile application, our installable web app, and our website at https://ashhkaro.com (together, the "Platform"), operated by Ashhkaro ("we", "us", or "our"). Ashhkaro is a marketplace that helps customers discover local businesses near them, book services, browse property listings for sale, rent and short stays, redeem discounts and vouchers by scanning in-store QR codes, earn referral rewards, and subscribe to savings plans, and lets sellers list and manage their businesses, shops, properties and events. By downloading or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should use the Platform only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You may register with an email address or with Google Sign-In. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. Our Role as a Marketplace
Ashhkaro is a platform that connects customers with independent sellers (businesses, agencies, property owners and investors). We are not the provider of the services or properties listed, we do not perform those services, and we are not an estate agent, broker or party to any sale, lease or booking. Any booking or transaction is an agreement between the customer and the seller. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, timing, ownership, title or legality of what sellers list or provide.
3. Bookings and Appointments
When you book an appointment, the price, discount and details shown at the time of booking apply. Sellers may confirm, reject, or reschedule appointments, and customers may cancel subject to the seller's terms. You agree to provide accurate booking information and to honor confirmed appointments.
4. Property Listings, Tours and the Investment Hub
Property listings, including bulk and portfolio listings in the Investment Hub, are created and controlled by the seller. Prices, areas, amenities, photos, videos, availability and ownership claims are the seller's representations, not ours, and we do not verify them beyond the checks described in section 6. When you request a tour, your name, phone number, email address and preferred time are sent to that seller so they can contact you; scheduling, attending and honoring a tour is a matter between you and the seller. You should carry out your own due diligence, including independent legal and title checks, before paying any money for a property.
5. Seller Responsibilities
If you list a business, shop, property or event on the Platform, you agree that:
- Your business, listing, service, price and availability information is accurate and kept up to date;
- You have the legal right to offer what you list — including the right to market a property you advertise — and will comply with all applicable laws and regulations;
- Any content you upload (business images, logos, product photos, property photos and videos, catalog PDFs, advertising banners) is accurate, is yours to use, and does not infringe the rights of others;
- You will honor bookings, tours, event registrations, and the prices and discounts you publish;
- Where you set your listing to a specific country or to worldwide reach, you are responsible for being able to serve the customers who can see it.
6. Verification and Badges
We may ask you to submit identity and business documents — CNIC images, an NTN certificate, or an ownership licence for housing society listings — for manual review before granting a verified badge or publishing certain listings. Submitting a document does not guarantee approval, and we may approve, reject, or later withdraw a badge at our discretion. A verified badge means only that we reviewed the documents provided; it is not a guarantee of a seller's conduct, the accuracy of a listing, or the outcome of any transaction. The Womenpreneurship badge is based on a self-declaration made by the seller. Submitting false or altered documents is grounds for immediate termination.
7. Payments, Subscriptions and Listings
Payments for subscriptions, memberships, business and property listings, advertising and other paid features are processed by our third-party payment provider (PayFast). By making a purchase, you authorize the applicable charge. Subscriptions and listings are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable. Listing prices are set in Pakistani Rupees (PKR); where we bill you in another currency, the amount charged is converted at the rate applied at the time of payment, and your bank or card issuer may add its own fees.
8. Seller Earnings and Payouts
Where you accept online payments through the Platform, we may deduct a platform commission and the payment gateway's fee before crediting your balance, at the rates shown to you at the time. You are responsible for providing accurate payout bank details; we are not liable for funds sent to details you entered incorrectly. Payouts may be withheld pending investigation of a dispute, chargeback, or suspected fraud, and you are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn.
9. Discounts, Vouchers, Referrals and Partners
Discounts, vouchers and referral rewards are offered by sellers or by Ashhkaroas promotions. You may redeem an in-store discount by scanning a seller's QR code with your camera. Discounts and vouchers have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be limited, changed, or withdrawn at any time. Referral partners and franchise partners earn commission at the rates agreed with us, calculated on the net amount of qualifying paid sales attributed to them, and may request withdrawals subject to any minimum we set. Commission is credited only for genuine sign-ups and activity; we may withhold or reverse rewards obtained through fake accounts, self-referrals, or other abuse. Partner login IDs and referral codes are personal to you and must not be shared or resold. The specific terms shown for a given offer at the time you use it apply.
10. Advertising
Sellers may apply to advertise on our banners. Ad requests are subject to our approval, must meet the format and size requirements shown at the time of upload, and run for the period purchased. We may reject or remove any advertisement that is misleading, unlawful, or does not meet our requirements; where we remove an approved ad for a reason within your control, no refund is due.
11. Location and Notifications
With your permission, the Platform uses your device location to show businesses and properties nearest to you and may send you push notifications for booking updates, tour and event alerts, verification results, reminders and account announcements. Both are optional: you can browse by country and city instead of sharing your location, and you can turn off notifications in your device settings at any time. How we handle this data is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Reviews and User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit, such as reviews, ratings, images, videos, catalogs, and business or property details. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and display that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform, including on publicly shareable shop and property pages on our website. You are responsible for your content and must not post anything unlawful, misleading, offensive, or that infringes the rights of others. We may remove content or listings that breach these Terms.
13. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
- Provide false identity, business, ownership, or payment information;
- List a property or business you have no right to market;
- Post fake reviews or manipulate ratings;
- Abuse referral codes, vouchers or QR redemptions;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other accounts;
- Scrape, copy or republish listings or user data in bulk;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure;
- Upload viruses or any other malicious code.
14. Ashhkaro AI and Preview Features
Some features are labelled as previews, early access, or "coming soon" — including the Ashhkaro AI assistant, which currently gives scripted replies to demonstrate what is planned. Preview features are provided for illustration only, may change or be withdrawn, and must not be relied on for any decision.
15. Third-Party Links and Services
The Platform may link to or embed third-party content and services, such as maps, externally hosted property videos, and payment pages. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or terms.
16. Intellectual Property
The Platform and its content, features, and functionality (excluding user-submitted content) are owned by Ashhkaro and its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, provide false information, or misuse the platform. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time, as described on our account deletion page.
18. Disclaimer
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that sellers or customers will meet their obligations.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ashhkaro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any disputes, services, property transactions, or payments between customers and sellers arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the courts of Pakistan.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page. By continuing to use the Platform after changes become effective, you agree to the revised Terms.
